The neighbouring bays give this stretch several distinct shorelines, and the villa has sea views from its terrace and pool.

Thong Sala, the island’s port town, is 7.3 km from the villa. Shared songthaews from the port serve Haad Yao, and a hired car can cover the road journey west. Koh Phangan has no airport: travellers flying to Samui transfer to Bangrak or Maenam pier and continue by boat to Thong Sala. Sky Villa offers shuttle service, airport shuttle and car hire. Free public parking is possible on site, but a reservation is required. You must tell the property your expected arrival time in advance; check-in ends at 18:00.

Beach time can be balanced with a visit to Food Market and Wat Sri Thanu, each 1.6 km away, or an inland outing to Phaeng Waterfall (6.7 km). Haad Tian Beach, 1.1 km from the villa, extends the choice of shoreline. February to April is generally the driest, calmest spell on the Gulf coast. June to September brings the green season and short storms, while October to December is wetter, with rougher seas particularly on the east coast in November and December.
